Attention 2008 FLL Teams!
While assembling this year's Climate Connections Mission Model Set for shipping, three elements were inadvertently left out. The error was caught before any sets were mailed to teams, but not in time to include the missing elements inside the shipping box. The sound sensor included in the new MINDSTORMS Education NXT base set is a sophisticated sensor that allows you to use a new stimulus for directing a robot’s actions. The sensor measures dB and dBA, meaning it can tell if a command is given in a normal “inside” voice and one given in a loud “outside” voice.
