HiTechnic Sensors
A person can do a lot with the sensors that come in the LEGO MINDSTORMS Education NXT Base Set. You've got the light sensor, the touch sensor, the sound sensor, and even the ultrasonic sensor. But, what if you want to do more? What if you want you robot to be able to sense magnetic north, or to react differently to various colors?
HiTechnic
, in partnership with LEGO Education, has developed sensors to solve these problems, and they're working on more to solve programming challenges you haven't even thought of yet. Their
compass sensor
is available through our
store
, and we'll have the color sensor soon. Watch this space, though - as soon as more HiTechnic sensors are available, we'll let you know!
